The leadership competency mapping is an exercise often requested by growing firms and in-house legal teams to understand the potential of their existing staff to honour positions with higher responsibility as well as to promptly fill gaps in talent acquisition and retention. We work with management to identify critical competencies and behaviors from employees’ that impact business results. Thereafter, we curate a series of tests to assess the present potential of identified employees. We analyse and present our conclusions and recommendations based on the test in the form of a report to the management.

A qualified lawyer and an experienced management consultant, Samta’s decade long career has been focused on providing enterprise strategy, guiding cultural transformations and rapidly boosting performance of law firms and in-house legal teams in the Indian legal fraternity. She has a proven track record of successfully addressing a variety of business challenges, capture value as well as lead transformations to help clients pursue sustainable performance improvement through top-line growth, margin expansion, and capital management. She was most recently the CEO of Khimani & Associates, wherein she led the firm’s financial, marketing, talent acquisition and Human Resources team towards strengthened execution leading to year on year growth of the firm. Prior to her role at Khimani & Associates, Samta had gathered extensive experience in successfully managing legal businesses. Till 2018, she led the Mumbai practice of a reputed management consultancy wherein she regularly advised and assisted key executives such as founders, managing partners in identifying gaps in the operations of their businesses as well as executing suggested solutions.
At Agragami Consulting, Samta also leads the acquisitions & synergies practice. She works with law firms of varying sizes, cultures, practices, across India and assists them in their expansion initiatives through acquisition or related synergy opportunities.
